Hello guys. I would like to make a preamp for a piezo pickup (for cello) like this:

I found online this circuit:

In addition to the speaker output, I added an output for headphones, is it correct?.

How is it possible, according to you, add an additional output to connect directly to a guitar amp? Do you have advice? Thank you for everything

For piezo transducer you need to incerase the input resistor (to at least 3.3MOhm). Have you noticed that this is a small power (0.5W) amp and not a preamp? Do you need a preamp or a power amp (or both)? Your modification with headphones output will not work. The capacitor and the resistor will short the output signal to the ground. Why did you do it in this way? If you search in google for "piezo jfet preamp", you will get many results (also on this forum).

Hello Markus, I actually need to use the cello with only headphones (small pre-amp) and even with a small speaker. I was wondering how to connect this circuit directly to a guitar amp in the best way. In I found a circuit where the input resistor is increase, as you said.

I tried to build what was found and connected to a magnetic pickup of a guitar works great with headphones. The sound seems very good. I hope to work with a piezo pickup ...
