to keep it as short as i can, i purchased a practice amp and i am trying to "personalize" it, so to speak. i have already done very minor mods to the tonestack(in red) that i'm pretty confident with, and i am just hoping for suggestions to make it further suited for my taste.
the main issue i'm having is, the first stage makes sense to me, but it's a little more complex than i'm used to. so, i'm sure it's simple enough, but i'd like a few second-opinions on how to make the first stage completely clean so i can just effectively use the whole shebang as a power amp, but still using the gain control as it is.
if i had to guess, i would short R11 and R12(not that it's necessary, but why not?) then completely snip everything else except for the Gain pot. the gain would only be 2-ish, but it would work i think?
all i need is a second opinion, please and thank you.

i feel silly for forgetting this, but when i say "snip everything else" in the first stage, i absolutely would leave C3 and R3 there. possibly change the values, but i know they have to be there.
