I amp building Pete Millet's Tube Xover. I want to place a grounded cathode 6SN7 gain stage before the crossover board.
I have a Torroidal transformer with dual 150 volt secondaries that will supply the PCBoard with the secondaries in series and the connection at the center tap position.
Is it possible to also parallel a tube rectifier from that point for the B+ (single supply) of the gain stage?
I have used parallel rectifier tube before but never came across a situation like this.
On the xover board the center tap is "0" volts relative to the B+ and B- but on the gain stage it would be "Earth" relative to the B+ only. Will this cause issues with current flowing along the signal grounds?
