That resistor in yellow circle is fixed ,pot is not connected to ground,so varies only the other one-
any other option?
Option? You put in a low pass filter and then complain of treble loss? Is this a joke?

I lose treble without cap,only hpf with cap and FIXED resistor solves the problem ,hpf 21 hz
The other fixed parallel improves quality but still not to good,does not attenuate to well
I thought adding another parallel resistor
Pot is 50k cap is 150nf and res to gnd is 51k
Correction its a HPF
