Hello i have a portable dj but sound doesnt come out unless there a hit or multible hits. It sound very low and static i have to lift it just a little bit from one side and let it drop and for those few seconds, you could hear the music.. Is there any idea what making it happen. Its a Performance Teknique. Thank you in advance 😊
Bad connection, most likely at the input or output connectors
Where would the input be, and output you mean the connections on the speakers? And thank you for your comment.

I didn't realise what it was exactly, an all in one karaoke like device? Almost impossible to know where to start fault finding. Does anything rattle when you shake it?

Not that i could hear, when i move it or let it drop sometimes the sound come back for few minutes and by it self it goes low again no body touch it or moved it. Not sure if that may help with that info.
if it's responding to mechanical shock/stimulus it's likely a cracked /bad solder joint or a loose connector.
this sort of thing can be hard to find.
a chop stix. a magnifying glass and patient persistence are 90% of what you need here.

For the cold solder joint could it be from and specific components or it could be from any board. Cause it has a power board, blutooth board where the volume pot are too. 😊
