hello
I would ask you if all polytone model (oldest and newest) has the double tapped transformer converting 110 to 220 and vice versa.
How to discover if they have this transformer ?
thanks

You need to be more specific if You want help. One way is opening the thing and look what's inside.
Perhaps the last link on this page is what you're looking for: Polytone Amplifiers Owner’s Manuals – Modern Guitarist
because i’m looking for a 4x2 mighty brute which is in japan and the seller doesn’t know if is possible to convert to 220 volt.
Anyone knows this model?
Anyone knows this model?
Do not know that specific model but *in general*, export models can be delivered with dual series/parallel primaries so adjustable for 120/240V but I have seen specific Japan models with just a custom 100V primary and nothing else.
This might be an exception but don´t consider it very likely.
In principle I would avoid this amp outside Japan.
What Country are you currently in?
Fill up the "country" field in your user profile, answers depend a lot on that.
