I have a Berringer PMP 6000 new to all this I have 4 passive speakers 8 ohm cabs. 3 monitors. Thing Barely runs the two mains one hooked up to the back A-b speaker on connections. I also have a 3000 W Rockville power amp to channel. what’s the best way to hook all of the stuff up and have some power with a little headroom? when I say barely runs it means the main slider and a channel slider is almost maxed to get any punch at all?

There is no way to sugar coat this... Rockville speakers are junk. The Rockville power amp may do a little better.. what model is it?, It's not 3000w but it may have a little more poke than the mixer. To use it connect the 1/4" main outs on the top of the mixer to the amp with TRS cables. What are the monitors? You could use the amps in the mixer to drive those with a reconfig, see the owhers manual for details on that.
hmm... faders almost maxed out but no mention of gain settings or what's being used as a source....or just how things are interconnected.....all it would take is one out of phase speaker cable to rob the system of punch!
There are two sets of manes on the top of the PMP mixer that has its own internal power amp the mains you were asking me to send to the power amp are they one in the same? So powered sends to power amp? Sorry it took so long and password issuesThere is no way to sugar coat this... Rockville speakers are junk. the Rockville amp is spec'ed at 250 watts @ 8 ohm RMS the Behringer is 800 @ 4 ohms (with no mention of operational impedance) so not much different in terms of poke.
It's the two jacks on the top.. marked by "58" in that picture. The Mixer produces 300w into 8ohms apparently so not much difference, but give it a try amyway, if it works much better that would suggest a configuration error somewhere on the mixer. This is the top of the pmp 6000 in the back are 2 speaker on connections for mains!

Full bandso are you merely running tracks or is the mixer being used for a full band mix?
