No, they're not perfect speakers. No, they're not Klipshorns. But I like my Cambridge Ensemble 1 speaker set.
The speakers are small, almost bose-sized, but do not sound like tinny trash - they actually work best in an open room. The woofers...woof. But now, thanks to my Sherwood reciever I would presume, the tweeters are toast.
And while Cambridge has been very nice to offer to repair them for 65$, that's 55$ too much for my tastes.
So, what do I do? I'm about to upgrade, but I'd like to keep these, if only because I grew up listening to my dad's pair. (Seriously!)
