Hi, could someone please help me identify this? He sais... "it came out of my $1200 150W subsonic subwoofer" but he doesnt know anything else. Is it any good? Do you know any of the stats? Or do you have a pic of the front? Please help as quick as posible, thanks 😀
Tiny magnet, pressed steel chassis. It may well be from a $1200 product, but you can do a lot better than that if you want to build your own sub.
Looks like a garden variety woofer to me. Retail value of about 40-50 US$.
This is not to imply that a garden variety woofer is bad. I use 4 of them and am quite pleased with my low end.
Without the T/S parameters for that woofer you can't do a proper vented box.

lol, I think I just got excited because he said it was from a $1200 product yet it was only going for like $15 on ebay. Although lots of great drivers and woofers I have seen look pretty ordinary from behind. Especialy if they are for home Audio, as opposed to being on display in a car etc.
