I have a plasma screen TV. I want to put a speaker on each side, and 1 underneith. Literally the magnet will be .5" from the tv. I've heard its no problem since Plasma's aren't effected by them. But I wanted to see what you all have heard or thought. Should I just get them and mount them?

If your that worried, then buy shielded ones. That will fix the problem, and why do you want it so close ? your sound separation will be non existant!
The TV is hanging on the Wall, and I don't have much room around it, I want to hang the speakers next to the TV... They dont' make shielded speakers of the type I'm looking at. I'm looking to build my own box with my own drivers.
It was CRT (Cathode Ray Tube) TV's that had big problems with nearby magnetics. While CRT TV's still can have top quality pictures, they don't manufacture them anymore.
