I have kept two Lansing 15" 16 ohm model 515c (sn 00695,00687) speakers since the early 70s. I now manage a small public high school theater (350 seats) and would like to use the two speakers to build a pair of sub-woofers. I'm looking for cabinet plans/specs that would serve these speakers well.
These are mid-bass horn drivers, so each will need a stage size [before folding] compression horn to 'serve these speakers well' down to Fs.

Get to the pdf of driver for various projects. Do you want a sub or a LF enclosure. For extension a 560 liter BR. This motor is flexible in a BR or horn that can also be advised here. Many plans available also from Altec. In a 90 liter it doesn't go low only to 50 Hz f3. Good for a PA or seating in a stage in a large format. For a good low power amp 50-100W RMS. High sensitivity and very flexible, nice driver. Congratulations.
