Planned DACs to use AK4191EQ? - 153db THD +N & SNR

AK4191EQ | Audio D/A Converters | PRODUCTS | Asahi Kasei Microdevices (AKM)

I'd buy one. Anyone here planning to? Or use one in a project? I don't have the knowledge to design all the surrounding circuitry for a DAC chip unfortunately. If I did, this would be the chip... It's so amazing it's almost unbelievable.

Could this thing drive 10k ohm itself?

This isn't a DAC. It's the modulator of a delta sigma DAC. The input and output are digital.

I see it's intended to be combined with AK4498EQ, but that is listed as EOL. AK4499EQ is also listed as EOL.
The AK4493EQ is MP, but there seems to be no alternative in the "ultra low SN" segment.
Makes me wonder when we'll see a newer replacement for the AK4499EQ or AK4498EQ .

At the risk of being on the verge of offtopic, I noticed the AK4493SEQ is taking over for the AK4493EQ. I do not understand this, they seem to be completely equal to my eyes. What am I not seeing?

You are missing that the AKM DAC factory burnt in November 2020 and the production stopped. This is why most of their products are listed as EOL.

As I understood they only plan the future production of AK4493SEQ and some few others high end products. Sad…

IIUC, they plan to redevelop some products. That might mean updated versions of old products (such as AK4137), or newly designed products to replace some discontinued products (such as AK4499 and AK4498).
