Ok I happened to find out a pixel is dead on my LCD.🙁 is there any way to fix this or will it matter a lot. It is one line small and thin but will it matter when projected?
How bad is it? Is it a single dead pixel, or is it a whole line? Is it a dead pixel or a stuck pixel(stuck a certain color), or an unlit pixel? I've been told you can massage dead pixels out sometimes. I've never tried it, but it suposedly works. You can look here for some info on dead/stuck/unlit pixels. If its not too noticeable, don't worry about it, but remember it will be a lot bigger projected. If its a problem, contact the vender you purchased it from. If its under warranty still there should be some sort of policy in regard to dead pixels. Hope this helps.
If its just one dead pixel, you're out of luck, most warranties don't cover that, it's "acceptable" in terms of quality control. The QC pass specs are something like no 2 dead pix side by side, or 2 separate within 1 sq inch of each other.... may be tighter in different countries though, but usually the service people won't entertain a claim for a single dead pixel.
It is a whole line. The line is pink and is a little to the left from the middle. one line not two not a small pixel. | like that. HELP!
