Is there anyone that can help me design a simple replacement to the voltage amplifier in the Pioneer VSX-54TX/56TXi? I can do the PCB layout but I don't have the skills needed to design the circuit.
These AVR use black module that is soldered into the power amp board just before the high current mosfet stage. You can see the design here:
The HIC PA9009A is the stock module. I was hoping someone could make me something that improves upon the original design but using J-FETS. I have a small budget if that helps.
