I have this SX-6000 on my bench and I need some direction. When I first turned it on it seemed fine, after maybe 10 minutes all I get is horrible static noise through all inputs and its loud even with the volume control down. It has a switch to separate the pre and power amp and the power amp is working just fine. I have been searching for days for any bad solder joints, burned spots or bloated caps and I can find nothing. Any thoughts?

That's good, you've narrowed the problem down to the line amp, or else its power supply. If it's in both sides about the same,
start with the power supply. Could be a noisy resistor. Solder joints can look ok but still be bad. Try cold spray on each part
of this circuit, masking the rest with a piece of paper with a small hole cut in it. If that doesn't work, poke around with a plastic stick.
Then start replacing parts, maybe a few at a time.

yes its the same in both channels so I figured its in the power supply for the line amp somewhere. The schematic is a bit tough to follow. Tube gear is soooo much easier.

First, you could temporarily run the line stage from a bench supply to see if the noise
goes away, that might save some work if it doesn't.
Start with the power supply unit W16-026. Replace all the resistors and caps.
If this doesn't help, it may be one of the transistors on that board.
