Hi
I am having a problem with this Pioneer SA-6300 amp. The amp works OK, but when I turn the bass control knob, this happens:-
Firstly, there is a burring sound (hum) when I turn the knob.
Secondly, the volume goes down, gets softer.
Lastly, the power indicator light dims when I turn the knob.
I have checked the power filter caps and they seem OK and also resoldered the board. Can the power transformer cause this problem. Pls advice
Thanks
