Pioneer A90/A200 Japs Version
Greetings!!
I hope everything's fine with you all.
I'm doing a repair/restoration of Pioneer A-200 and came across some resistor value which confused me. Now I want to ask for your help because it is not in the grasp of my knowledge. As per the schematic diagram it's 3.6K while PCB value is 4.7K. I wanted to know how critical is that value, should I follow the schematic or the one in the PCB. I attached some photos for reference. Thanks in advance for your input.

The resistors have a triangle next to them meaning a safety critical value.
I would replace with the specified value unless there is a service update from Pioneer about a change in value.
A quick search reveals there are no updates which leads me to believe it has been repaired before.

Thanks, triangle marked for safety as per service manual. I found them metal oxide resistors and ventilated(elevated from PCB surface). So i go for 3.6k then
Hi Jon,
Greetings!
I hope everything's fine with you.
I'm still repairing A200 and the right channel is perfectly fine almost 1mv DC offset but the Left channel is having 1.2V DC offset.
I already replaced the 2SK129 but still DC is high.
I'm wanted to know if matching transistors are needed for this amp, I attached a photo for reference. I found some defective transistors the original is 2SC1438 but I replaced it with BF422 as substitute.
I'm hoping for your kind support.
Regards,
Junie
