After repairing the PS and replacing half the output FETs the amp will produce good audio but the output inductor is getting hot fast.If I let it idle with no load it heats up same way.

Have you repaired any of these before and found that the inductor ran cool at idle?
Do the output filter caps heat up at idle?
Is there excessive noise or ripple on the output?
Some inductors run hot due to marginal design or cheap cores (more loss).
