I am building an Integrated amp and want to add a phono stage. The integrated amp handles 1.2V in for full output and I'd like to get the phono stage to have an output somewhere close to that.
I came across this schematic that looked interesting, was wondering what other peoples thoughts were on it. It's looks like it has an active RIAA network in a feed back loop. I'll be using 6EU7's in what ever I decide on, because I have some and now you can get new production tubes as well.
If not this I am thinking the usual RIAA between the 2 haves. 220k Plate 1k cathode ~ +300-320v on the plates.
Also what about the output impedance. Should I use a 250K pot or can I get away with a 100K on the output of the phono stage/input of the integrated amp.
