I was using my Philips CD 304 as a transport to an home grown DAC(with 2 PCM63P decoders). Want to cut off the operations other than the Digital Output, of course I will still need the front control panel. If there some power supply plugs I can pull to dis-connect ?
Thanks for the advice.

The SPDIF is taken from the SAA7220B. You can disconnect the power to the TDA1541 and to the analog part. What benefit do you expect from disconnecting power to the unused circuitry?
I'm unfamiliar with electronics. Thought there's still something load running on the TDA1541 even with a non-connected analogue out. So, some of the power regulator (at least the one supplying TDA1541) will not get hotter when the CDP is running it's transport only ? If that's the case, I leave it as is. Thanks a lot.
