I am considering to build a Sonus Faber Amati alike speaker,
Don't these curve look great 😀 !

But i also like the TP-3W speaker of John.

Cause he solved the drivers phase correction in a physical matter.

So :
1. should i build the Sonus Faber Amati alike with an electrical phase compensation ?
2. or make it a mix of both ?

And as additional requirement, i'd like it to be a WMTMW

either one.

a simpler method that works is to have 3 boxes or 5 (one for each driver) in this case and move then back and forth so you can see what sounds right. once you have an idea you can built a single box.

one day I will build a speaker using this technique; today I got enough on my plate.
