I'm interested in building a phantom powered mic preamp, similar to the fethead or cloudlifter. These are used to provide extra gain for dynamic microphones, about 25 db fixed gain.
Can anyone point me at a design that has the basics covered? I like the idea of using discrete jets, but anything to get me started would be helpful.
