Phantom Power issue

Greetings... new user here, looking for advice. I recently sold my Bose Series I (flying saucer base!) and got an EV Evolve30... NICE system for small rooms, etc. Works great... until... buddy of mine had some great mics, so I got some. CAD50... They require phantom power, and the Evolve30 has phantom power, according to the literature... what you have to REALLY dig to find is that it's 15V Phantom Power!! The CAD50 mics need (would like) 48V. They will work with the system, but have virtually no headroom, and attempting to boost them creates unwanted noises, to say the least. Unless you're a wolf in heat and like the howl.

1) I've run PA's off and on since the 70's, and things are a lot different now, so phantom power is something I've never dealt with before. Not having a phantom power supply, I have no idea what would happen if I connected a mic to a 48V supply and then pumped that into an existing 15V supply... my guess is that I probably shouldn't do that!
2) Does anyone make a 4 channel variable voltage phantom power?
3) I doubt that disabling the phantom power inside the EV is a good option, but then could use any ol' 48V phantom power.

Thoughts? Meanwhile, it's back to 57's and 58's!

Some mics do require closer to 48 volts phantom to operate, I just did a quick look at the CAD50 mic and could find it's spec on phantom voltage. ( I have some of the original CAD Equitek's, they work great for bluegrass and choir mics)
You may need to use external an phantom power supply, it would go between the mic and mixer input, just turn off
the mixers phantom power, though it wouldn't hurt if it's on.

That said when you say the mics "howl" the first thing I think of is ole fashioned feedback!

Let's say that the mics are powering up, those CAD mics would require way different mixer settings than
an SM58 that was plugged into the channel before, starting with the input gain.

That is my concern... the EV30 has no "off" switch for the 15V phantom power... so, using a 48V Phantom Power supply would, theoretically, yield a 63V power supply. Not sure the mic would like that? But, is it possible that the EV30 decreases its phantom power if it senses another power source? I do have a 4-channel mixer with 48V PP, so guess the only way to really know is to run a mic thru that into the amp and see what happens!!
