Very often, diyAudio is very slow, especially with images and videos.

Image files do get optimised for quick download but if you view content soon after it is posted you're likely to get the original. Often images have a much larger file size when they are first posted.
Another thing is "lazy loading". Images aren't loaded in the background until you scroll to them on a page. This saves on network activity but may occasionally causes a post to jump around while it adjusts. In extreme cases I may grab the scrollbar and take the page straight to the bottom and back up again, to force loading.
Hi I chose this thread to ask a question about " Watched Threads".
I would like to delete a previously watched thread from my list, due to lack of interest anymore or if it was a GB that has completed. Any way to do this ?
Thanks,
Myles

You can click Unwatch on the top right of any watched thread.
or you can click 'Watched', top left and go from there.

Thanks Netlist, those functions I understand. I was wanting to permanently delete the thread from the list of watched threads on my computer. ie: to reduce the number of threads in my list.

The watched threads list is held by the site, its not on your PC.
I just tried it by un-watching a couple of threads and those threads disappear from my 'watched 'list.
Just to be sure we are on the same page 🙂
Watched thread:
Pick one at random.
Unwatch:
Confirm:
Refresh list and its gone:

You'll also find the watched list has checkboxes beside each thread for bulk operations you carry out from the bottom right of the list.

1. Click the menu "Watched threads". A list will pop up with all your watched threads. I presume this the list you refer to.Thanks Netlist, those functions I understand. 2. Select the threads you want to remove from the list by selecting the checkboxes.
3. Click on the dropdown " Manage watched threads"
4. Click "Stop watching threads" I have posted a picture of this last step.

I believe the above applies to all your watched threads. My apologies. Unwatch threads manually to remove them from your list.
Thanks for the help. Mooly's method worked as prescribed whereas Sangram Point#4 will delete all watched threads if you are not careful.
I found if I opened the watched thread and obtained a list, I would the select the small rectangular block underneath the Replies/views. I would then go to the bottom of the page and toggle the " With selected" box and choose "stop watching". This would then delete whatever threads you selected.
Mooly's is great for removing single ones mine is good for multiple removals.
All is good
