Pedja Rogic was so kind and permit me to make a pcb with his circuit.
To get a smaller pcb, i made two connectors for the needed big 10µF caps.
The PCB will have the following data:
Material: FR4 - 2mm
Layers: 2
Board size: 110x95 mm
Surface finish: Immersion Gold
Copper weight: 70µm
Soldermask: Both sides - green
Silkscreen: Legend on top
The price will be:
Pedja Rogic DDNF I/V Stage Module: $ 16
Worldwide shipping: $ 9
Europe shipping: $ 5
paypal fee: 3,9%
A donation of $3 USD to diyAudio will be done for every pcb sold.
After testing the GB will start shortly.
Please post your pre-order wishes to my Blog.
I will delete the comments after dispatching the pcb´s.

An externally hosted image should be here but it was not working when we last tested it.

The testing is finished and the GB could start.
Here you could see the complete DDNF I/V Output Stage.
Transformer input voltage: 3* 24VAC
Shunt input voltages: 3* 32VDC
Shunt pot value: 3* 5k0
Heatsink Rth: 3,7 K/W or better

1st listening impressions
The whole DDNF I/V stage runs now around 40 hrs.
Time to make a listening session.
1st i am very impressed.
In comparison with my Tube-I-zator it has a bit wider soundstage and a more forward presentation.
The smoothness of the tube is gone. It is extreme fast and punchy.
As the Tube-I-zator with a beautiful natural sound, but not with it´s extreme 3D stage.
All this with a PRP9372 R I/V and with Mundorf Supreme 10µF caps.
What would happened when a Texas Component TX2575 goes in the I/V position
and the caps would be changed to Mundorf Supreme silver/oil or silver/gold/oil...😀
It´s up to your taste!

I havent built the tube output stage, only this discrete stage, and i agree with your impressions. It's very fast and direct. I still feel it is very transparent and very detailed.
I think indeed that the choice of caps can help to "tune" the stage to your taste a bit.

No. This will be on the DAC V3.0 module witch is scheduled to August/September.
The new batch of the DDNF I/V Stage module arrived.
It has an updated silkscreen, where the build-in direction failure
of the BC557C´s is corrected.
I will dispatch all payed pre orders tomorrow.

Hi mr-mouse,
because of a low interest in the past, i will not start a new batch.
For all who want to produce this pcb, i have attached the Gerber files.
If you want to have my populated pcb, please send me a PM.
Best regards,
Oliver

hi oliver,
i'm just curious with this DDNF IV
will it be better if using C2240 A970 instead of BC557 BC547 ??
any mod needed for C2240 A970?
thanks.

Hi,
unfortunately i can´t answer this question. Please ask Pedja, because it is his circuit. 😉
Best
Oliver
bc557 bc547 are they have to be matched N to P?
the hFE maybe...?
I can´t remember that Pedija recommended this in any case.
