PCM63 Low Pass Filtering

In other words, if you build your own design PCM63 DAC (Tube output)...did you add extra LP filtering? If not...what does your 20kHz look like? 😱

We used PCM63 and PCM1704 without any digital or analogue filtering. Listeners' always commented that the presentation was the most natural they have heard. Just try your design without an LP filter.

I just implemented a low-pass first-order with very high cut off. Almost no impact on the F-curve and even 20kHz looks extremely clean 😉...and...nice impact in THD as well 😉
