Hi,
Sorry but I'm sure you guys here this a lot! I'm totally new to DIY audio and I recently built the objective2 headphone amp. I decided to try out a DAC from ebay and picked up a PCM2706 / TDA1305 DAC. It sounds alright, much better than my laptop and it works on android.

Is there anything I can do to improve this? I would like to get my hands dirty and make some changes! Does anyone have any opinions about this given it was so cheap.
It has what I would describe as a slight shrill at high volumes. It's a very accessible board in terms of components and was only £20 came in 5 days from China, which was a surprise.
Any suggestions would be great 🙂
