PCM1704 + Pass D1 Output Stage?

Is there someone out there who tried the following configuration (or something similar):

CS8420 (upsampling to 96 kHz, KWAK-Clock), DF1704, 2 x PCM1704 w/ the PassLabs D-1 analog output stage?

Since this setup will produce a 768kHz word clock, I'm worried there might be more high frequency energy than my power amplifier and speakers like to live with.

Hope there is someone to take this fear from me...

I will try it, just working on the schematics and starting with layout. I don't expect trouble with high frequency passing the output stage, but will check before connecting to the amp.
DAC is not very different to the D1.

This sounds interesting. I recently acquired a few NEC standalone CD readers with digital output and I'm again loking for a DAC to make them sing. I'd like to take a look at the schematics, if you don' t mind. However, I see your "send me email" button is not on.

I have to draw the power supply/regulation now, and do the layout.

This will be for learning as a primary goal, so I put a CS8420 and a AD1896 upsampler on it, to try both. If it sounds fine, ok, if not, maybe I can learn how to improve it.

How did the DAC work out?
I want to make a new one with an AD1896A instead of an 8420.
