here's my proposal for the layout. The reason for posting it here is to get some feedback on the grounding - which I believe isn't the best possible. I am using double-sided board with smd parts except the input, output, power and potentiometer connectors that are through-hole style.
The attachments show both sides of the board: All the parts are placed on the top side. On the bottom side are ground and supply traces. This was the tricky part to manage! The middlemost broad trace on the bottom side is the ground trace and the others supply voltage traces, respectively. The input/output ground connections are clearly visible as well.
Is the layout decent at all? I do not include the schematic diagram, but if you own the famous project sourcebook from Slone, you'll find it there.

I would add a groundplane to the layout on both sides.
But firstly I would thicken up tracks as much as possible.
One thing t owatch out for is high power output signals near input high impedance signals, you can get interference.
