Hi
I knocked this up over the weekend as I wanted a simple passive volume control, as they do come in handy when experimenting etc.
The pot is a 10k blue velvet all hardwired inside, stainless feet that self level .. got them out of the RS cat ... and a aluminium case with gold plated phono connectors, I am generally pleased with the outcome. It i s not as big as the pictures look, and looks very expensive when being used. Plus a earth connection if needed to stop ground loops ..
many thanks Nick
plus a small pic of my corvette

An externally hosted image should be here but it was not working when we last tested it.

The feet don't match the chrome feet on your power amplifiers. Each may look OK on it's own (to people who like that sort of thing), but they will never look good together as a system.
Are you going to chrome-plate these feet to make them shiny too? If you do, they will match the other silver thing in the background of the first two pics very nicely.
Come to think of it, if you just upgrade the feet on the power amps to match, you will have a truly first-rate system. As you say, it already looks very expensive!
