Passive attenuator - balancing amp - Icepower

Hi all - Is it OK and/or sensible to go from a single ended input to a 50k pot, then through a balancing stage and then into an Icepower 300as1 balanced input?
I can power the DRV134 balancing circuit directly from the ice power modules so it makes for a very simple single input high powered amp with volume control.
Is the balancing stage necessary? From what I have read these modules sound better with a balanced input.
Any and all suggestions and opinions very welcome!

If anything I would go balanced pot into module if it has diff input. (Assuming all things equal on loading of pot and input impedance)

At the end of day balanced advantage is in noise suppression if you have listened to modules and happy with noise floor over SE then I wouldn’t even bother, there is no audible benefit ‘sounds better’.
Outside noise the only improvement is going to be perception rather then any real world sonic benefit.

The only benefit is if your volume pot was one end of your house & amp at the other, with the DRV134 by the volume pot and long balanced interconnect.
Your sources are SE. No advantage in converting to balanced when all is placed together.
