In the early times of CD there have been non os players with brickwall filters - active hybrids with op amps and SMD filter caps, those sounded not very good - and also passive LCLCLCL filters that used coils with ferrite cores.
Are those ferrite cores something to worry about ?

Hi Bernard
Oh sorry yes i ment odd harmonics.
Hysteresis could be of no concearn, low currents used.
The saa7210-pcm schematic is not ready. At least the whole setup, because i discovered something peculiar: treble output is attenuated when the whole warms up, the sound is annoying me then. Right after switch on it sounds rather good. CDM problems stops me from further experiments also.
