Hello everybody, I bought in Japan at the PASS LABS XA 160.8 monoblocks power amplifiers with a voltage of 100 volts,
I live in Finland and I need to set 230 volts,
I already had a couple of amplifiers from PASS LABS it was with universal transformers 115 and 230 volts ,
Is it possible to get service manual for our local service center
so that they can switch to 230 volts
Maybe somebody already have it

Likely it needs a different transformer. You would want to contact Kent at the factory for the information on that.
Oh yes, I already wrote to Kent at the factory,
but answered Desmond Harrington:
The XA160.8 can not be switched or rewired to 230V. It would need a new transformer and some changes to the AC board. These require a total tear down of the amps. The best option for you might be a step down transformer.
Now I'm waiting for answer of new original transformers price.

A job like this has to go through an authorized service center. And one of the best in Europe is Audio Service BV in the Netherlands. For liability reasons we can not send you the transformers but Audio Service can order them.

because I have US shipping address:
it will be much faster and no need to send amplifiers anywhere

I already wrote to pass labs to Kent, but Desmond answer to me:
I must go with it to dealer in Nederland, i know this dealer
it will need to ship xa160.8 and cost more than twice local service price
but I can't do it because covid19 situation, broads closed,
and more I just had covid, and spent 2weeks in hospital,
have now 2months rehabilitation after covid19 at home.
Maybe you can order this parts for me,
I have US shipping address in NJ
certainly I'll pay for your helping and
i send 120v pass labs xa160.8 transformers to you free.
it's will be more fast and chipper
and don't need to ship xa160.8 to Nederland or US.
