Pass Aleph3+Eminent technology lft8b...which cable?

Hi,
I have these speakers:

Low efficiency but a fairly high(always>8 Ohm) and regular impedance:

and two Aleph 3 (vertical biamp) to drive them.

Do you think it's better to use a cable with high capacitance/low inductance or one with high inductance/low capacitance to drive them?

I had a pair a while back. They were just too inefficient for my placement. In order to make them really sing, I needed to play them louder than was practical in my small room. However, when I cranked the volume they were very revealing and I enjoyed them immensely.

To answer your original question. I ran them using simple 10 foot lengths of 14ga lamp cord.

Keep us posted and let us know how they work for you.

Hi WBS, do you remember this thread?

Luckily I have a bigger room than yours and I'll try asap to pre-filter the two Aleph3 to make them more happy and more dynamic for the E.T.8b.
I don't like high volume music and I'm not too far (3m) from the loudspeakers.
I'm amazed at the sound pressure I have with the little Alephs and the quality of sound.
The speaker cables I need are 5 foot long.

Thanks

I run a pair of LFT-8b's little brother, the LFT-16, with a pair of Aleph 2.

I use Belden's 10-gauge 5T00UP as speaker cables and they are about 26' long. I don't have any complaints with these cables partly because of the lengths, they are pretty economical.

First Pass Amp Aleph 3

Is my Mcintosh C32 Pre-Amp a compatible combination for my Pass amp?

So far I'm loving this amp. Purchased a couple days ago from Audio Consultants Hinsdale, IL.
