I recently bought two amazing, used Aleph2 amplifiers (240V 50/60Hz) and they do sound amazing!!!
I have a question regarding the weight of each amplifier. When I put one of them on the scale it weighs 44,1lbs (it's the same for the other one). The manual says 60lbs of shipping weight for each of them.
Is the weight correct for the 240V edition or should it be higher? I just want to make sure nothing is obviously wrong with them.

20kg is good enough , number in manual can be different from 100 various reasons , besides fact that there are 2 different pounds and ppl living in Europe are usually clueless about that and even if aware , always taking wrong one in account
two different pounds - advp and troy
🙂
if still in doubt , put some pictures here , including those without top cover ...... we are going to get part of daily porn , at least

240Vac version will probably hav extra safe packing as it is not for normal US shipping. Wooden crates at least for non-domestic shipping.
The manual says 60lbs of shipping weight
SHIPPING WEIGHT:
The gross weight of a shipped item that includes all wrapping, packaging, boxing but excludes the container.
You guys are all probably correct!
I haven’t reflected on the pound scales and didn’t even know of the ”other one” as you said.
The boxes i got them in are most likely the ones that’s inside of the ”wooden” box.
I didn’t think of that.
Unfortunately I haven’t got any pictures of the inside yet 😱
Thank you for the quick reply and help!

The Aleph 2 was originally shipped in a wooden crate, which weighs
quite a bit more than cardboard box.
