Hey All,
Does anyone have a good source for panel mount power sockets that can be used to plug record players or other lower consumption components into an amp/pre amp?
I've found a couple that are snap in like the one in the attached photo, but I'd feel more comfortable with something that screws in and has quick connect terminals. Really seems like this shouldn't be hard to find?
Thanks!
Joe

Here are a list of IEC chassis mount sockets. Keeps everything standard.

Have you actually Read the OP´s question? 🙂
What he wants is NOT any kind of IEC connector but standard mains outlet type ones.
And specific US type ones ... just look at pin size, shape and spacing.

The request does not specify anything save mains low power, screw in chassis type. Nothing about country of use. Just a generic thumb nail that could be IEC or Schurter type flat pin etc.
Perfect! Thanks.

Whoops, I did that American thing where I forget that there are other countries. Should've been more specific.

Ha ha. 🤣
Just what you'd expect for a country that still insists on using imperial 😀
Oh, and while I'm at it.
It's not sodder, or soddering.
There's a an 'L' in there.
It's SoLder and soLdering.
😉

Neutrik Powercon is your buddy.
It is worldwide standard on PA & lightning gear.
Just drill a 22 or 23 mm round hole and two 3mm holes for the fixing screws.

That's how it's spelled, but it's properly pronounced to rhyme with "doddering".
🙂
Shouldn't that be spelled "doldering" in that case? Ah, the mysteries of the north American continent the civilised world finds amusing. That's how it's spelled, but it's properly pronounced to rhyme with "doddering".
