Hello to all.
I recently purchased a vintage Panasonic SE-TX100 obviously it has 100V supply but I found a voltage selector switch hidden in the back panel. As shown in the photo below, it can be switch to 110V, 127V, 220V and 240V but there's no "MARK" to where the switch should be positioned. Can anyone please help me how to select to 240V? I can turn either clockwise or counter clockwise but in which position it should be?


Any help will be greatly appreciated.

You could use an ohmmeter to measure between the live/neutral wires and switch to whichever setting gives you the highest reading.
Simple, I think: make an index mark (using a permanent marker or similar) next to the current setting (must be on a fixed surface that does not rotate with the adjuster). Now, rotating the adjuster, the index mark should indicate the new setting.

I think I found it but not sure yet.
10R to 11.5R>>>240V
8R to 9.6R>>>220V
5.6R to 6R>>>110V
6.5R to 7R for 127V
I will do initial test tomorrow, I will use a light bulb to be sure.

you can disconnect the secondary connections to the psu rectifiers, then connect a 12v ac source to those secondary leads...
then with an ac meter connected to your power cord plug measure voltage...
adjust the voltage selector so that ac reading is maximum....that will be your 240volt tap....
You could leave the wiring alone, connect an ac supply from a transformer of no more than 100v to the power in. Monitor the ac out on the bridge rectifier and when you set it to the least, that will be the 240v tapping.
there are two groups of primary windings, they are in series for 240 volts...
what is do in such amps is to remove the selector switch altogether and wire the traffo for 240 volt operation....makes for a clean looking amp..
