That cap doesn't look like a Panasonic (or Matsushita) to me. I have seen that triangle logo before, but I can't remember where. What's the power supply for?
Well, it is Matsushita's logo. Why do you say it doesn't look like a Matsushita capacitor?
Are you thinking it might be a fake?

Appears to be a "discontinued" Panasonic, snap-in, Type TS; Series W
- for all "old" electrolytic capacitors, check value and dissipation factor, before use.
- related TS types, listed in Panasonic's "discontinued" section:

I wonder it the W serie is similar to U or UP serie
There is a quite large differenet in ripple current between those two U and UP serie.
2A vs 3A @120hz

Matsushita? ive never heard of them but i rembered seeing the logo on one of the tubes i picked up the otherday and sure enough thats who made it. wonder if panasonic or Matsushita was just a reseller for the manufacturer?
Noone with some hidden information about the ripple and impedance of the TS W cap?
Welle usually you can found some info about discontinued caps on the net, but I guess this cap is really old then??
I think I pass and use 2x2200uf MUSE caps instead.
