Hi folks,
does anyone have an idea (or schematic) for a simple overload indicator by an led (I think with a comparator)
so that with a trimmer I can adjust the indication level?
The target is to show normal level with green led light and overload with a red led (this should be a double led, but they all have a common cathode)

The "early warning " section of the indicator can work with any amplifier, and can be adjusted to the desired value by selecting the values of zeners D12 and 13.
If they are low, they will indicate clipping:
Use a visible LED instead of the optocoupler
If they are low, they will indicate clipping:
This circuit uses no transistor, and can provide a pre-clipping warning too by correctly dimensioning the zeners (circuit on the right, the LED of U2 is the indicator):
Use a visible LED instead of the optocoupler
