Orion Xtreme 400

Ive got a pretty badly damaged board in this one. About a dozen components unrecognizable. I may put this one into the junk pile however if there is a schematic floating around I may try my hand at some board repair.

Thank you

Can't help with a schematic. I would reference the opposing channel to rebuild it. First you'll want to get some straight up acetone and scrub all that carbon off the board to see what you're really working with. It's not an extremely high value amplifier so I would probably part it personally. You'll have a few hours into that. Plus parts. Plus the plugs. I think you'll get buried in it.

Honestly, I started with some acetone last night, and decided to stop and claim this one as a no-go. I needed PPI/Orion terminals, a fuse holder, and this amp came with plugs too so... not a total loss..... Its getting some core/unpurchasable parts stripped and then going to the junk pile. It has a good transformer which looks like a lot of small SX/XTR Orions. That might come in handy someday as parts. The sync is perfect. Maybe I'll get one with an ugly case and swap-out someday.

Thank you
