Hi everyone,
i've just bought a second-hand Orion XTR200 which sounds very bad.
I opened the chassis and i realized it was repaired... many parts have been replaced, including 4 output devices.
SMPS caps are swallen too
someone has the schematic / service manual for this amp?

I don't have anything on this amp. If you post a photo of the inside of the amp and can describe the problem in more detail (a screen cap from a scope showing the distorted signal would be nice), I'll try to help.

Sorry about the delay....everyone that asked for the schematic's got them emailed, Ive also Have alot for the PHOENIX GOLD amps, which can also be had on the PG phorum...thats if you have the certain privilege's needed to get them...
if anyone has the schem's for the PG ZPA 0.3 + 0.5 amps, please let me know as those are the one's Im missing, and I have 4 of these amps aswell..
ya'll let me know if you got the schem's for the NT, all 6 pages in pdf.
also, other than the basic mods that can be done to make the NT more reliable/cleaner/more power/ upgraded version of the parts, please let me/us know.
as we all know, the NT/xtr 100-200 series are real clean and powerful amps straight from the factory, especially when ran in balanced input's!
we need a list of upgraded parts for these amps, like higher amp fet's, matched BJT out's, cap's, bypassing the din to run rca's...and anything else that can help make this amp better than ORION made it..

Hi Brad,
I have never seen any ZPA lit for the 0.3 or 0.5 ever in 15 years. Even working closely with PG engineers not once was any document info made available to me. It was almost like PG wanted it held as a state secret. Please PM me if you ever do manage to retrieve any of that info, as I also own two of these...🙂
Some how I lost all my schem's for the PG's,so no luck there..at least I know who to send the pg's to if a prob arises..^^
