What is the general concensus about the Eton ER4 tweeter? I'm considering building a Eton Empire top enclosure with that tweeter and two 7" Eton bass/mids.

My reference is the ScanSpeak 9900 revelator tweeter in the ScanSpeak Reference Monitors.

With a normal dome tweeter it is like listening to music with your mother in law sitting next to you on the couch.....
and listening to the ER4 is like listening to music with a beautiful voluptous 19 year girl sitting next to you...

ER4 is a magic component, if you are able to make it works 😉, I disagree all the others choices: why 2x 7" eton? Hexacone is not the best solution for medium frequency ( good for low frequency) in my experience. Not a very little controindication for me but a big problem
with human voice, piano,harp,etc. Be warned!
I suggest HDA aerogel.
