Hi,
I have a dB Opera 405D class D powered speaker. When I power ON this unit, there is a random and constant clicking sound from the High Driver(Tweeter). At times it turns into a frying sound. When I connect an audio signal, it works fine and the clicking sound is overridden by the audio. But the clicking sound remains even without any signal connected. I tried replacing the high driver but the clicking remains. Can someone please advice what can be the cause. I suspect the gate driver.
Thanks
Carlos

I had a similar problem with a irs2092 design.
Turned out to be the 12 volt regulator wasn't decoupled well enough.
I was getting clicks on the vcc line.
