Hello!
I have heard that the OPA642 op-amp is a very good
choice for I/V conversion compared to many other chips
available. Does anyone have opinions or experiences
with this chip for I/V, or how it compares to units like
the AD811, OPA627, etc? TI lists I/V as an appropriate
usage of this particular op-amp.
Many Thanks!

Have you thought of using an OPA660?
Check the thread OPA660 I/V. this could be a better alternative.

Why don´t you try this one ?
Jocko´s I-V stage
Hello!
Is it possible to run Jocko's output stage at
+/- 15 VDC? Also, will it work properly with
the PCM 1702 DAC chip to give 2 VRMS out?
Does the circuit have any low pass filtering
for the 8X oversampling built into it?
Many Thanks!

I don´t use exactly the circuit published but my circuit is quite similar.
It runs on +-15 V rails coupled to a pair of PCM63´s.
The only lowpass filtering is a cap across the I-V conversion resistor.
