Hi there,
I've just acquired a full Onkyo system including the above turntable, dirty but in very good condition otherwise. The components, I believe, were the TOTL of the Onkyo components of their time.
The table is a direct drive with separately adjustable 33/45 rpm speeds and seems to be well made, except for the tone arm which is the typical midrange Japanese S arm of the time.
Does anyone know how well the above table was rated in its day? Worth putting a good arm on?
Cheers

Actually, Onkyo's top of the line turntable was the PX-100M. The one you have would be excellent for experimenting with heavy plinths with a vibration sink for the bottom bearing.
