Can anyone tell me, my Onkyo PR-SC5508 Preamp needs a D830K013DZKB4 replacement IC chip, I can get one but it wont be programmed.
Is there anyway I can do this? Or, can it only be done by Onkyo?
I have seen this chip for sale, AliExpress which I will not touch with a bargepole and a few sellers in the USA via eBay...

Just read the IC is not programmable but the amp has to be flashed?
Would uploading the current bios onto it not work?

Can you tell me what happened with Onkyo?I has same problem with TX-Nr5008.I search the ic but find lot of different logos?Also if you remember from were you buy this chip.
