It is a long time I am passionate with british audio from the 80's and listening to amplifiers from this time.
My preferred one is still the Onix OA21s with Soap2 ( but I know them all from Onix OA20 till 24). It is quick on the warm side and renders the true color of sound, this is pure music. The sound.
The second one would be the Ion Obelix with Xpack 1. It gives a greater scale from bass to high than the Onix , sound is cleaner than Onix but it is not going in the color of sound like the Onix.
The third would be the combination Naim Nac32+ Nap110. If you play guitar and you like to hear the difference between the strings or like to listen to Mark Knopfler in Sultans of swing you will like it.
The fourth the first Cyrus One you will like to feel the soundstage , where are the players ...
😛 they are very different and each will go better with some musics ... But a golden era it was !!!!🙂🙂
