Hello Everyone,
I just got an omnichord sitting around my studio and I have never known this thing to have existed until about a few days ago. A friend came up to me asking me to fix it for them. Upon opening it I see that the power adapter was bashed into the circuit board and chipped it off. Now the machine won't turn on even with the use of batteries and I tried just soldering the chipped parts real quick but it looks like the connection has been severed real bad. Since its just a little chip off the edge of it I believe it can be repaired without replacing the board all together. If there is anyone on here with some Omnichord repair experience I would very much appreciate it if you reached out with some tips or if you know about any professionals I can take it to that would be great too. I'm fairly knew to the world of circuit boards/arduinos/ and coding so I know what most things are and I can fix your everyday 3d printer but the Omnichord is something of a relic to me and I don't want to be messing around with it and make it worst. I'll post images later! Thank you all in advance!

If the circuit board isn't too shattered, you can try to reconstruct the damaged end. Any suspect traces should be checked for continuity and jumped with wires if found bad. The fractured area can be repaired with a little 2-part epoxy and maybe some splints to strengthen the weakened board. The severity of the damage will dictate course of action.
