Old School Soundstream Tarantula

I have an old school Soundstream Tarantula the Amp is all Crome and takes 0/1 gauge for power and ground..

Not sure if the model number since I can't seem to find it anywhere on the Amp ..

The Amp has 2 blue neon lights inside of it that are broken when I bought the Amp ..

Does anyone know where I can buy replacements or anyone know if I can cut them out and replace them with some led's ? Asking since I don't really know the circuit that well

The first generation Tarantula was the limited edition one with the spider cut out in the top of the case. I believe that they originally came with red neon. You can buy CCFL lights to replace them. I bought a bunch from Newegg a long time ago, price was reasonable. If you replace it with CCFL lights, use the inverter that comes with the lights, don't use the one that came with the amp.

Most times I have seen the first generation monoblock refered to as the LE Tarantula, or the Tarantula 2kW. The soundstream website used to have the manual available for download, I believe it was listed as Tarantula 2kW on there.

Later,
Jason

**Edit** Attached a pic of one of mine

Sorry been very busy..

Here are some pics of the internals..

Wondering if led's are the way to go to replace the broken neon tubes and if so what value resistors would i need if i find a 12volt source inside the amp and run the led's off 12 volts ?

Or anyone have any better suggestions i can buy from digikey ?

Do you have any better suggestions on what I should use ?

The guy local to me that makes neon tubes wants 100+ dollars to make 2 new ones ..

I was trying to find a cheaper way that does just as good since it doesn't affect the amp all they do is light up the front panel
