I have a few old CD 5.25" Drive Speaker amps and they sound good ( will list issues I have with them) and I am new to the diy audio and just need some help/ tips to make them better sounding (if at all possible to do ) examples of what better capacitors and resistors to use

Here's what it use to look like pic

An externally hosted image should be here but it was not working when we last tested it.

Issues:
Static at the 3.5mm jacks when plugging in or removing
Tiny sound in the background
Needs more bass
Amp over heats even on 5v

Here's what I am doing now to it for my to do list

Todo list:
Amp needs cooling (have a heat sink for it)
Needs better speakers (came with 4 ohm speakers)
Needs to be more compact (saves desk space)
Replace Jacks with insulated ones

Here's the pics of the board and parts of them and will list the current parts used on them all ready

List of parts and the specs that are on them

Swapping capacitors and resistors is unlikely to make any difference. It could pay to check the useful frequency response of the speakers, then make sure the amp isn't wasting power attempting to reproduce frequencies below that range. Apart from that, stuff some acoustic damping in behind the speakers (steal some fiberglass batting from the attic or a construction site), and do a sine-wave sweep to identify any annoying buzzes.
